Google Lunar X PRIZE →
Google has offered up $20M to the first team to soft land a rover on the moon. The rover must roam at least 500 meters and transmit imagery back to Earth. There’s also a $5M bonus prize for completing additional objectives, such as discovering water ice. (via Universe Today)
